Manager, Partner Marketing – Latin America

It’s an amazing time to be joining Netflix as we continue to transform entertainment globally, leading the way in developing amazing Original series, movies, documentaries and other types of content for all audiences. Netflix has grown to over 81 million members across the globe with the Latin American region in the centerpiece of international expansion.

On the Partner Marketing area new opportunities are arising not only with Consumer Electronics companies that make the great devices you use to watch Netflix but also in categories like pay-TV MVPDs, broadband ISPs, mobile carriers and financial institutions. The Latin America Partner Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Partner Marketing and work closely with the Business Development, Partner Device Ecosystem, Marketing and PR teams to grow relationships with emerging partners, managing the full life-cycle of projects.

This role requires strong strategic insight, creative thinking, experience in crafting world-class Marketing campaigns and Partnerships, energy and drive to own projects from ideation to execution.

What you will do:

  • Own the partner marketing relationships with MVPD, ISP, CE and mobile carrier partners in Latin America
  • Ideate, develop and launch creative programs that enhance Netflix Originals marketing campaigns and brand love, driving new member acquisition
  • Be hands-on with the heavy lifting: take the lead on execution, collaborating with other teams to ensure partnerships are seen through to implementation
  • Represent Latin America marketing among internal constituents in multiple orgs
  • Help to define the overall Netflix marketing strategy with the leadership team

What we need from you:

  • A track record leading and driving marketing campaigns as well as marketing partnerships with notable brands
  • Experience working with Telecommunications / Technology companies as well as with Entertainment properties
  • Deep partner engagement skills, maintaining healthy relationships with key partners
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team, working both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • A desire to thrive in our unique culture
  • Passion for Entertainment
  • Experience working with the Latin America region
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese, Spanish and English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced degree (preferred)

Key Attributions in Detail:

  • Lead local extensions to global campaigns, working on special projects (stunts, guerrilla, content, digital innovation) that increase the relevance of title promotion in Brazil
  • Co-lead the adaptation of global campaigns, going beyond plain localization, truly adding value by incorporating local insights to them
  • Lead the creative development of local campaigns (local originals initiatives mainly), working closely with agencies and other Netflix teams to develop digital-first integrated communication projects
  • Lead the development of local events (e.g.: Comic Con)
  • Participate in the global discussion of how the Netflix brand can be built through content marketing

What We Need From You:

  • A desire to thrive in our unique culture
  • A curious creative mind that can help us establish meaningful connections between Netflix and our non-members in Brazil, exploring innovative ways to express our values and positioning when promoting our original titles
  • Native understanding of digital marketing with an emphasis on video, display, rich media and social, combined with the skills to tell compelling stories for the Brazilian market through media agnostic ideas
  • Deep pop culture knowledge, having invested thousands of hours consuming content. Someone truly passionate for entertainment, capable of extracting powerful communication insights from our original content
  • A track record of participation in world-class communication projects for love brands in Brazil
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team, working both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to self-motivate in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment
  • Capacity to continuously provide and receive constructive, actionable feedback to/from colleagues
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
